Description

What it is Take these beef-flavored Chewables for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations. Nexgard Chewables kill Lone Star ticks, Black-legged ticks, American dog ticks and Brown dog ticks all month long. NexGard contains the ingredient afoxolaner which also targets and kills adult fleas before they can lay eggs. 

Who it's for For puppies 8 weeks of age or older, weighing 1.8kg or more (4lbs)

Dosage

Prescription (RX) needed No

Dosage Given orally once a month at the minimum Dosage of 2.5 mg/kg (1.14 mg/lb).

Active Ingredients Afoxolaner 68.0mg

Usage

1. Talk to your vet about other medications and supplements your dog is taking 
2. Ensure your dog eats the entire chew, it can be administered with or without food 

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: 

1. Afoxolaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. NexGard (afoxolaner) is for use in dogs only. The most frequently reported adverse reactions include vomiting, itching, lethargy, diarrhea, and lack of appetite. The safe use of NexGard in pregnant, breeding, or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.
